The performer will usually have the activities they partake in during gold shows posted or you can ask them what they intend to do during their performance.
You have to pledge your Gold before the countdown expires, and you will automatically join the show once it is started. If the performer cancels the show before it begins or even while it is in progress, you will not be billed.
